  • Breeding bird fauna (2006) and bat monitoring (2019) of the Gesäuse-Johnsbachtal site.

  • The dataset contains records of land birds (Aves) collected in the lower valley of River Sabor (NE Portugal), in the scope of the long-term Ecological Monitoring Program (PME) of the Baixo Sabor Hydroelectric Dams (AHBS), promoted by EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. This dataset includes results of surveys made in the upper Sabor sub-basin, outside the area of influence of the dams, from February 2010 to September 2014. These points were thus used as controls to assess the impact of the Sabor Dams. Sampling was performed in selected points distributed along the Maçãs and Angueira river valleys. The presence and identity of bird species were assessed by visual and/or acoustic observation, with the support of binoculars. The records include taxa identified at the species or genus levels.

This dataset includes results of surveys made in and around the area affected by construction works complementary to the dam sites, from August 2010 to September 2014. The presence and identity of bird species were assessed by visual and/or acoustic observation, with the support of binoculars. The records include taxa identified at the species or genus levels.

  • Dataset contains records the breeding success of Golden and Bonelli's eagles from 2010-2014. Yearly data are included at utm grids 10x10 km (European 1950 30N datum).

  • Dataset provides information on distribution and abundance of Bucanetes githagineus at 13 localities of Southeastern Spain. Time span covered is 2003-2012 with censuses made in 2003, 2005, 2011, 2012.

This dataset includes results of surveys made in and around the area affected by the dams, from February 2010 to September 2014. Sampling was performed close to extant stream weirs, as well as close to locations where weirs were planned to be built in the future under the mitigation program of AHBS. The presence and identity of bird species were assessed by visual and/or acoustic observation, with the support of binoculars. The records include taxa identified at the species or genus levels.

  • Bird species data from the UK Environmental Change Network (ECN) terrestrial sites. Counts of individual bird species are recorded. These data are collected, using the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO)'s Breeding Bird Survey methodology, at all of ECN's terrestrial sites using a standard protocol. They represent continuous records from 1995 to 2015 (the transects are walked twice each year). ECN is the UK's long-term environmental monitoring programme. It is a multi-agency programme sponsored by a consortium of fourteen government departments and agencies. These organisations contribute to the programme through funding either site monitoring and/or network co-ordination activities. These organisations are: Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute, Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru - Natural Resources Wales, Defence Science & Technology Laboratory, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Environment Agency, Forestry Commission, Llywodraeth Cymru - Welsh Government, Natural England, Natural Environment Research Council, Northern Ireland Environment Agency, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Scottish Government and Scottish Natural Heritage.
