  • Presence/absence data for vascular plant species in Companhia das Lezírias and their habitat category. First, the most important vegetation units were selected, based on previous land cover maps. In each unit a 1km transect was established, passing trough the centroid of the habitat patch. A 2m margin was established for both sides of the transects and all species within it were registered. Period of field survey has been in May, June and July 2011.

  • The aim of the dataset is to monitor the changes of the vegetation of a selected dry grassland area. There are no grassland management, neither grasig nor mowing. We follow the changes of plant species composition in 200 4m x 4m large semi-permanent plots from 2000. There were survey in the years 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015 and 2021.

  • Present dataset compiles all the vascular plant taxa existing in Sierra Nevada, together with relevant features including taxonomical, morphological-ecological traits, distribution, habitats, conservation status and abundance. Data were compiled according to all the available information sources on taxonomy, ecology and plant-species distribution. The resulting dataset includes 2,348 taxa belonging to 1,937 species, 377 subspecies and 34 hybrids, and with a total of 756 genera and 146 families represented in the collection. The data were compiled according to all the available information sources on taxonomy, ecology, and plant‐species distribution. The resulting data set includes 2,348 taxa belonging to 1,937 species, 377 subspecies and 34 hybrids, from a total of 756 genera and 146 families represented in the collection. For each taxa, together with taxonomical information (Phylum, Class, Family, Genus, Taxa), we compiled plant traits (life‐form, spinescence, flower symmetry, flower sexuality, plant gender, androecium:gynoecium ratio, flower color, perianth type, pollinator type, flowering, seed dispersal, vegetative reproduction), and their environmental association (origin, endemic character, general distribution, substrate, elevation, habitat, local abundance, hygrophilous behavior, conservation status).

  • The aim of the dataset is studying the effect of land-use on the plant species richness of different dry habitats. The field site network consists of 16 sites, of 5 km 5 km each, representing all major land-use/land cover types characteristic to the region (agricultural land, abandoned agricultural land, tree plantation, semi-natural grassland, and forest) in varying proportions. The first survey was made between 2006-2008, the second between 2019- 2021.

  • Resurvey data of vascular plants, epiphytic lichens and bryophytes at LTER Zöbelboden, Austria. First records started in 1993 and all permanent plots are being resurveyed on a regular basis every couple of years. Permanent plots for forest understorey are 10x10 m; epiphytic lichens and bryophytes are recorded on tree trunks (with some bryophytes plots on the forest floor)
